Now that I have you thinking about your big hairy dreams, (and if you missed it, go back to this post to receive your challenge), you might be thinking that it may be impossible to get there. The good news is you have just completed the hardest step! You’ve identified a dream to go after.
There’s a huge difference between those with a fixed mindset and those with a growth mindset. Those with a fixed mindset wait for life to happen to them. Those with a growth mindset fix their sights on a goal or a dream and then start moving toward it. Those with a fixed mindset will say a statement like, “ I can’t do it” and those with a growth mindset would say, “I can learn to do it.” And the good news is that Anyone Can Learn to do Anything!
Yep, you got that. Anyone. Oh, and yes, I did say Anything!
Any dream/goal/project, no matter how big, hairy or scary can be broken down into small enough tasks that it becomes less daunting. This is where my skill lies, is to help clients face dauntingly complex health issues and break down the steps into small enough chunks that even those with the least energy can start to make those small steps to progress.
We chain together enough steps, enough completed small tasks, then before you know it, you are so much further toward that dream/goal/project than you would ever have been trying to stare it in the face to figure out how to do it.
