How much are you moving on a daily basis? Until technology started playing a more prominent role in our lives, that was actually a pretty tough question to answer.

But now—with a world that’s crowded with iPhones and FitBits—there’s really no excuse to not know just how much movement you’re injecting into your day. And I’m talking about more than counting steps here. I’m talking about understanding your heart rate variability through the use of readily available heart rate monitors. I’m talking about using your tech to monitor whether you’re spending too much time sitting down or being still.

That’s why we’re going to spend this week’s video to highlighting the ways in which you can use technology to start living a more variably active lifestyle, and why enhancing your overall physical performance is essential to better living.
