I have written a bit about how I am using Heavy Metal detox as part of my healing journey. I am about to go to Scottsdale one more time for a treatment and follow up test. So we will see how effective the IV treatments have been for me. I'll be sure to write about that in a future post. But, heavy metals are only a part of the overall detox picture, environmental toxins can be found in what you eat, drink, breathe, feel and think (yep even negative mind chatter can affect your health).
You may not be aware of all these toxins, but if you want to optimize your health, being educated on the latest in toxins is a must! Chronic conditions, like autoimmune disease, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity, can be associated with environmental toxins in your body. This is exactly why I pursued heavy metal detox therapy - to help rid the levels of Cadmium and Lead that are stored. So how on earth do you start learning about toxins?
Enter The Detox Summit - Its a week long, online set of recorded lectures. The lineup looks great and is very well rounded in all topics regarding detox. Events like this are easily overwhelming, so I suggest at least taking a look at the line up and picking which talks you want to listen to. I'm excited to hear the lectures from Mark Hyman, Terry Wahls, Michael Stone, Amy Meyers, Jeffrey Smith, and Frank Lipman (see below). You can always purchase unlimited access to watch all of it (kinda like binge-watching House of Cards but for health) and if you do so tonight by midnight ET, its only $47. But, you can also plan out your week to listen to the free events too! [Affiliate disclosure: If you choose to sign up for unlimited access from my links, I will receive a small commission.]
